Why use a recruiter?
Recruiters have a hard time justifying their existence. So let me put our case to you from a Werx perspective. Although our fees come from our clients, we do not lose sight of the fact that we are an independent negotiator.
The secret to being a successful recruiter is that no part is oversold.
Let me explain. No employer or employee is perfect. Therefore to portray that is nonsense, so let’s all be honest with ourselves and identify the good and the not so good. What is the point of us giving a prospective employee a rosy glowing picture of an organisation when 3 months down the track having discovered the reality they turn around and ask for an explanation? This applies the other way too.
Every person and organisation has areas where improvements can be made. We want both parties in the employment process to be fully aware of what is being entered into so there are no surprises. That is the role of a recruiter. We offer guarantees, we prefer not to have to apply them. We have built up a reputation over the past 8 years where I think we can be relied upon for our openness and transparency. We guard this reputation with vigilance.
